I Am

I am created in my own image and likeness and I see that I am good.

No Time For Rhyme

I’m no poet I know it But I haven’t got the time you see For rhymes of mediocrity Besides what tools have I to show What other should have already know Romance is not my strongest suit It never bore me any fruit When looking up at moon above I only think of sleep, not love The universe is not revealed When gazing across sea or field I’m afraid you're on your own, my friend This rhyme of mine is at the end.

Old Woman

Were you quite a beauty When you were seventeen? You must have been enchanting Like some silent movie quee

Were you adored by many And loved by just a few? For though born many years ago I could see how I’d love you.

This Is A Test

The following is just a test of the Emergency Relationship System. Had you actually been in love you would have been given incorrect instructions by everyone you know. This was just a test to see if you were listening to them.

Whalesong

While the whales sing whalesong I see the whalers plodding along High above their mournful moans I see a man with earphones.

As their great girth glides through sea I hear my captain call to me At my post, as I was all along I hear the whales sing whalesong.

I know now we are closing in I know soon their songs will end I hear my captain call to me I see the whales have pierced the sea.

And tho’ the order’s given By higher call I’m driven I throw myself into the sea My fellow whalers watching me.

My brother whales now swim along. They sing to me in whalesong.
